The Gospel for Japan

日本の旗 - The Flag of Japan

As you look at the flag of Japan, the red circle represents the sun, which gives life to the earth. God, as the Creator, created the sun of Japan and gave life to this nation and its people.God created the sun that shines over Japan, and He has poured His love into the people of Japan. God is not just the God of foreigners or the West—He is the God of all nations, including Japan.

Bible Verse:

Genesis 1:1 – "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

Isaiah 45:18 – "For this is what the Lord says—he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited."

The one true God, who is our Creator and the God who gives all life.

There is only one true God, the Creator of all the heavens and the earth. No idols or other gods can compare to Him. He is the One who reigns over all creation and pours His love into all people.

Bible Verses:

Isaiah 45:5 – "I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from Me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged Me."

❤️  -  God's Love

God is the Creator of all nations, including Japan. His love is not just for foreigners; it is for all people.❤️ This heart represents God’s great love for you, the Japanese people, and His desire for all to know His love. God is not just the God of foreigners; He is the God of all the world, including Japan.

Bible Verses

John 3:16 – "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

1 John 4:9-10 – "This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."

➗  Sin and Shame

In Japan, there is a well-known proverb: "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down." This expresses the social pressure to conform, meaning that those who act differently or stand out are often criticized or suppressed.

However, from a spiritual perspective, this proverb may reveal an even deeper truth. Our sin, before God's perfect holiness, stands out like a protruding nail—it cannot be overlooked. It must be dealt with.

When we stray from God's path and walk in sin, we sever our relationship with Him. Sin brings shame upon us, dishonors God's glory, and robs us of the peace and fellowship we were meant to have. Yet, it is only through repentance and the grace of Christ that this "nail of sin" can be removed, and our hearts can be healed and restored once again.

Bible Verses:

Genesis 1:26-27 – "Then God said, 'Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness...So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.'"

Romans 3:23 – "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Isaiah 59:2 – "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear."

Romans 6:23 – "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

✝ - Jesus' Sacrifice

"Humility is a virtue. This proverb reminds us of how humble God was for us. God became human in the form of Jesus and gave His life to redeem us from our sins.

The cross reminds us of Jesus' great love—He stood in our place on that cross and invites us to restoration. 500 years before Buddha began teaching, Jesus Christ had already come to the earth. He was nailed to the cross like the 'nail that sticks out,' carrying humanity's sin and shame. This was not just a historical event, but an eternal plan of God, offering salvation to all nations, including Japan.

Jesus is the Son of God, fully God, and one with the Father. The proverb 'The child of a frog is a frog' reminds us that Jesus is the Son of God. He is fully God Himself."

Bible Verses

Isaiah 53:5 – "But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds, we are healed."

1 Peter 2:24 – "He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed."

John 14:6 – "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
